The Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) added Spiral’s Spector platform to its public marketplace of vetted manufacturing technologies. Spector pairs HoloLens 2 mixed-reality hardware with Spiral’s vision pipeline to give technicians spatial guidance and automated defect analysis on the shop floor.
The work was co-funded by a U.S. Department of Energy grant and co-developed with GE Renewable Energy, where it was applied to wind-turbine component inspection. The CESMII listing makes Spector discoverable to manufacturers exploring AR + AI for industrial QC.
